Will I be given specific preparation for my placement?
- You’ll be able to look at information relevant to your placement on PARE
- Your placement area will provide formal preparation support for your role in the service
In a non-traditional setting how do I still achieve my proficiencies?
Placement opportunities across the programme are planned to enable you to achieve all of your learning outcomes.
What if I’m not confident to deliver a student-supported service?
- You’ll be given preparation, support from registered professionals and peers to increase your confidence levels as you work towards registration
- Any concerns can be raised via your supervisors, assessors and/or AEI staff through escalation
Who am I going to be working with?
You will work with a variety of health and social care professionals related to your service placement
Will the student-supported service account for all my placement hours?
Each opportunity is tailored to the specific placement, some placements offer experiential learning opportunities aligned with the service which are recognised as part of your placement hours
